Marty Adams
Co-Founder of Strategic Value Bank Partners
Mr. Adams has more than 30 years of bank management experience in both small and large institutions. He is the Co-Founder of Strategic Value Bank Partners, an investment partnership specializing in community banks. Prior to Strategic Value Bank Partners, Mr. Adams was the Interim CEO and Director at Park View Federal Savings Bank. Prior to Park View Federal Savings Bank, Mr. Adams was the President and COO of Huntington Bancshares. From 1987 to 2007, Mr. Adams was the CEO of Sky Financial Group (formerly named Citizens Bancshares). Under his leadership, Sky Financial Group grew from a small Ohio community bank into an $18 billion diversified financial holding company, with locations throughout the Midwest.
Mr. Adams has served on the Board of Directors for Huntington Bancshares, Sky Financial Group, Park View Federal Savings Bank, GulfShore Bancshares and First National Bank of Chester WV. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Premier Financial Corp (OH), FineMark National Bank & Trust (FL), and First National Bancshares, Inc (MI).
Mr. Adams received his M.B.A. from Franciscan University in 1984. He graduated from West Liberty University in 1975 with a B.A. in Business Administration/Economics.
