Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Executive and Retired Bank Executive, TD Bank
Michael Collins brings 35 years of experience in both international and domestic bank regulation, backed by degrees in economics, marketing, and banking. As a former Executive Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Michael gained a deep understanding of asset management and operational strategy within financial institutions. At the Fed, he managed a $30 million annual budget and implemented strategic visions for the Supervision, Regulation, and Credit departments, leading a team of nearly 200 professionals, including bank examiners, economists, and IT specialists.
Michael’s financial expertise extends beyond numbers—he applies it to management, strategy, and innovation. His background, from an undergraduate degree at Susquehanna University to serving as President and COO at TD Bank, highlights his passion for the economic and business impacts on individuals, communities, and stakeholders. He views financial statements as a narrative that reveals a firm’s risk appetite, priorities, and strategy, all of which influence stakeholders and shape policy.
Now at Blake Collins Group, Michael leverages his strategic thinking and leadership skills to help clients exceed their expectations.
